The Students of Caribbean and African Ancestry (SOCA) maintains a safe-space and hub for Black-identifying students at Simon Fraser University to connect and hang out! We host a wide range of culturally-relevant events, activities, and services for Black, African, and Caribbean students on campus. Come enjoy our couches, library, micorwave, kettle, study space and more. Allies are also welcome to visit and collect resources from SOCA and the Black Student Support Centre, which is housed within our space. SOCA is located at the heart of campus in Room 1430 of the Student Union Building on Burnaby campus, so make sure to come check it out!
